Help me keep driving and my job.

Hey guys, I’ve never had the need or balls to ask for help... I changed careers as some of you know in 2020, I went from cheffing to construction work. This made me push hard and move to a healthier lifestyle, working Monday to Friday early mornings and sometimes late days. Occasionally it’s a long drive to the job site - I was chosen by a cop in a bad mood to prove a point. During a thunderstorm, a 45 minute roadside questioning and my first ever visit to London, Ontario; I was pulled over for using my phone while driving (updating my GPS). With Covid pushing on and my fiancé being laid off of her full time job, I am now the only person in our home with an income. I tried to fight the charges this morning and the court system as always was ruthless. Without hearing my story I was slapped with an $800 fine, 3 demerit points and a temporary suspension. I need to drive for work it’s necessary, not a luxury. I drive a modest kia and don’t try to be too flashy. The charges they hit me with are more than one month rent in my current apartment. Im already struggling to keep us afloat / I’m behind half a month rent / my license stickers and my license renewal. It breaks my heart to ask back for the first time but I’m hoping the people that I know and love aswell the ones who have been success stories during this pandemic could share a bit of love and help me with the fees and fines I am dealing with so I can continue to work for an amazing boss and great new growing business with a new career path.
