Please Help the Wall Family

As some of you may know, this past August my father suffered from a significant brain infection. He was hospitalized for 3 months which accumulated thousands of dollars in hospital bills. My dad was lucky to have survived, however the life altering side effects from this infection have left him unable to care for himself without assistance. Until last week, my mother, who also has a litany of medical conditions, was the primary caregiver for my father. My mom was hospitalized last weekend due to a significant fall at home which has left her with 7 broken ribs and a punctured lung. While my mother has been in the hospital, my father has been alone at home. Yesterday, he too was hospitalized with 2nd and 3rd degree burns from an injury he sustained while home alone and unattended and is being transferred to a burn unit in Syracuse NY for treatment. My parents live in a very rural area of NY and there are limited services in their area to help them. Insurance does not cover the services they will need for aftercare and because they were hard working Americans, they don’t qualify for Medicaid or disability services. Anything you can give would be appreciated, so I can better support my parents in their time of need. Donations will go toward payment of medical bills, help provide transportation to future medical visits, and help raise money to provide a better living arrangement for them, for in home care or moving assistance.
