Terry's Passing & Bridget's Life Thereafter

As many of you know, my dad had been fighting a rare cancer for almost 2 years! Unfortunately on December 27th dad's fight ended and he was called to heaven. Even though dad had life insurance, unfortunately he had to remain alive until April 2021 in order for my mom to receive benefits. This means that she'll only receive a little more than what they payed on it... All of which will be spent on his service and she'll still have to take money out of savings to cover some of the cost... This loss has left us all devastated but no one has been shook harder than my mom! She lost her husband, her best friend, the man who's been her everything since she was 18 years old! Not only does she have to figure how to survive without him physically and emotionally but financially as well! He took care of the rent while she handled the water and electric and such but now the bills are the same but there's only her income... She keeps saying, "I'll figure it out" or "I'll make it work" but lets be honest, there's only so much someone can make their checks stretch! Any and all financial help you can give my mom during this time would be immensely appreciated! Dads big personality and even bigger heart left a huge Terry sized hole that is going to take all she has to heal from and there's no way to take away her pain or to grieve this loss for her! I'm just trying to find things we all CAN do to help and support her while she goes through the motions and transitions to her new normal! Thank you for any and all help you can give! God Bless you!
