Hello. My name is Bambi Pescasio and my high school age son introduced me to a young lady and her wonderful family last year. A beautiful mother who was radiantly in love with her children. I feel honored to have known her for what little time that I did.
Yesterday, on June 7th, as her oldest daughter held her hand and told her it would be ok the nurses rushed into the room pushed her daughter out and tried desperately to open her airway with a tracheotomy as she went into cardiac arrest and died. Three weeks ago this young mother began to feel ill and went to the doctor several times, each time they were unable to identify what the cause was. Unable to get off the couch her elderly mother called the ambulance to take her to Kadlec hospital where she was admitted due to poor liver function. While there her liver began to fail, her kidneys started to shut down, her air way closed and her heart failed.
With no rhyme or reason this young mother of eight beautiful children; one in high school, one in middle school, four in elementary, one in preschool and an infant son, lost their mom. A week ago these young souls had a mother who sang to them, played with them, tucked them in and held them tight and tonight their hearts are burdened with so much uncertainty. Their maternal grandmother and grandfather have taken these young souls in and are making room in their home.
I have created this page to help raise fund to pay for the funeral expenses so that these beautiful children can lay their mother to rest. Having the addition of extra mouths to feed, little bodies to clothe, young hearts to soothe, and now having to bury their only child is a heart wrenching task. Please help me in easing their financial burden so that they can begin the healing process.
Often times in life we are given unimaginable burdens to bear and trials to face. Many times we live with the narrow sight of our own lives and what pertains to our inner circles of family and friends. I believe that as a community we can impact our future by lifting up those around us in their time of need. These young souls are your future neighbors, your children’s future friends, peers, coworkers, and leaders. They are all of our concern; lets show them how important they are and let them know that they are loved and will never be alone.
