Cadet Mitch Winey Fund

The Indiana chapters of the the West Point Parents Club, the United States Naval Academy Parents Club and the United States Air Force Academy Parents Club are collaborating to raise funds to defer the travel expense of West Point Cadets attending the funeral of their fallen comrade, Mitch Winey, who lost his life in a training accident on 2 June 2016 at Fort Hood Texas.  

The fund will reimburse travel costs for Cadet Winey’s comrades first.  Any remaining funds will be directed to the Winey family to meet their needs.

Representatives of the USAFA Parents Club of Indiana, the USNA Parents Club of Indiana and the West Point Parents Club of Indiana will supervise the collection and distribution of 100% of all the available funds.  

Please help us insure that the comrades of Cadet Winey, who committed his life to the service of our great nation, are able to honor his family and pay their proper final respects.
