Piper Mae isn’t doing well.

Piper Mae is a 5 year old Olde English Bulldog. If you’ve gotten the chance to meet her, you would agree she is the sweetest, most loving and friendly dog/bulldog to be around. She loves any human, dog, cat or any pet you bring around. Babies are her weakness as she didn’t get to be with her puppies as they were taken from her right as they were born. I’ve had piper for almost 2 years now & before I rescued her, her and her sister were tied to fences outside. They had never been in a home with parents who actually loved and cared for her. She never had play time or any healthy food nor any type of love. She was 75 lbs when I rescued her and scared to death to go up or down stairs. Fast forward two years later to now and she gets up and down the stairs quicker then I can and she is down to 53 lbs. Over the past couple days she hasn’t eaten any food, she’s been throwing up, panting real bad and heavy, no energy, and this next part will sound gross but she’s been pooping a slime looking dark dark brown/red. She has a pus/dark brown/red fluid coming out of her lady parts. She is currently in a doggy diaper because of how much is coming out. We took her in the the emergency vet today at 2 and she was there for about 4 hours. They told us she has pyometra which for those of you who aren’t familiar with it, it is a infection in her ovaries that is quickly killing her. The doctor told us we have about 2-3 days to come up with this money to get her into surgery before it’s too late. I’m out of work and have had a hard time finding work so I know this is a long shot but a couple people suggested for me to make one. I’m not normally the person to ask for money but quick to hand it to someone in need. I don’t expect to raise much but at this point anything helps, whether it be a donation or even a simple share and a prayer for our baby girl. Piper is my first very own dog that I purchased and have taken care of along with my boyfriend helping take care of her as well. I couldn’t imagine a life without her. I love her more then anything in this world just like my family and friends. I want to thank everyone in advance even for a share and prayer or even a donation.
