Hi...my name is Jon. My story is about my wife Nadia. We work in the medical field...helping patients for years...and my wife is a personal support worker for 20 + years. Nadia loves her career...Nadia loves helping and taking care of her patients...and Nadia have a heart of gold. Nadia always put others before herself...Nadia took care of her family members who had cancer...and her family members past away years ago from cancer. Nadia's family have a genetic cancer history...Nadia took care of her grandmother and her mother from cancer...and Nadia watched her flesh and blood pass way right in front of her eyes. Nadia buried both of them. About her mother Irena...we found out that Irena got stage 4 cancer in a short amount of time...we took care of Nadia's mother for 10 months...Nadia was pregnant at that moment....and Irena died from colon cancer years ago. Nadia's older sister Angela had cancer few years ago...Angela had surgery for her cancer...and Angela beat her cancer. Nadia situation :
Nadia got covid 19 earlier this year...Nadia was forced to get a colonoscopy...we found out that Nadia have a stage 3 colon cancer. According to the doctor...this type of cancer is genetic...this cancer can easily spread throughout the body...and Nadia feels horrific bad pain for months. Nadia can't have surgery for her tumor...the doctor said that Nadia will receive aggressive chemo and radiation treatment to shrink the tumor...and it's too dangerous for Nadia have surgery (the cancer can spread). According to the doctor...there is a 50 percent chance of being successful of shrinking the tumor...there is a 50 percent of not shrinking the tumor...and Nadia's life will be about her cancer for the next 2 years. Nadia is a mother of 2 daughters...we have a 7 year old and a 15 year old...and our children having a hard time with Nadia's cancer...and honestly we don't know a life without Nadia. We love Nadia with all our hearts...we hoped that Nadia will beat her cancer...and we can't describe when we see Nadia in a lot of pain for months (heart breaking). Nadia is having a really hard time with her cancer...Nadia took care of sick people for years...and it's time for people to take care of Nadia in her greatest time of need. Due to covid Nadia had to give up one her jobs as psw are not able to work more than one job during pandemic and that has caused financial strain as she lost a lot of income and now with her cancer and treatments she still has to work one job to help provide for our family. I just want my wife Nadia love of my life to be able to focus on fighting her cancer instead of having to worry also about finances...both her parents are deceased and Nadia has no one else to turn to for help. Nadia has spent her life caring for others and helping their families in hardest times and I would love for my wife to have help come her way as this is our time of hardship and fear as we all love her so much.
