Help Derek get to Mayo Clinic

This is for my 28 year old son who has developed health complications that have led him to stay home from work since November. He can not workable it  has also affected his ability to drive. He can drive short distances on good days but doesn’t  ever push it. The fact is, as the months go by, he is not getting better.,The last couple of months have been spent on his couch, with the quality of living his life, and getting worse. He has been to Indianapolis to see a neurologist. And here in Lafayette he has seen a pulmonologist and a cardiologist. Still no answers. Sadly some of his interactions with them have left him even worse off because of their carelessness. Now he has reached out to the Mayo Clinic in MN.  They have told him that they do not take his Medicaid because it is out of state. They said they would see him but it would cost $5,000. It would be on an outpatient basis.,I would like to ask for donations for my son, not only for the initial stay but for the cost of gas and food.!This would be amazing and if we got an answer it could change his life. He has never really asked for much. He’s a wonderful father to two amazing children. He has worked hard for everything he has. He has given his all to his wife who has only been able to ‘watch’ him go through this. She struggles with not being able to help him. Please pray for my son and his family.
