Caleb’s Relief Fund

Hi everyone, my name is Caleb and I’m asking for help from my community. I have lost complete support from my family due to being queer and non-binary. I have not talked to them since March. I had my credit card scammed two weeks ago, which sent me into more debt. I have been screwed over because of student loans, my unemployment has stopped (on top of this they’re asking me to pay funds I wasn’t even given back), my car got towed, my landlord is harassing me/my roommate and is currently trying to kick us out of our housing, threatening to have the police drag us out of our home, and on top of all this I have been laid off and have spent all of my savings trying to feed myself and stay somewhat mentally stable. As holidays are always a weird time for me, this will be the first Christmas on my own. We need secure housing. We need to feel safe. I need mental rest. I have never been this sad and worried in my life. I need to quit staying up until 3 every night wondering if my landlord will barge through my door. I need financial support. I need to get back on my feet. I just want to rest and feel safe, and fight the feeling of not even having a family to go back home to safely. I’m asking for $6,000 as this will put me in a better situation to pay off what I need to and secure housing to feel safe. I’ve grown so much this year and have never been this happy in my life with who I am, but at the same time, I’m really just a gender-non-confirming queer kid who is trying their best with what they have. I have been supported in the past and after all the work I have made/currently working on, it’s really the only thing saving my life. If you have literally anything to give, you have no idea how much it would help me and ultimately move me forward. I’m asking my community to help. Please share and tell people who might be able to support. Also please make sure you are sending your financial support to the actual COMMUNITY. There are thousands, if not millions, of queer, Indigenous, POC, and trans lives in dire need.
