Sisters Need a Game-Changer

Donation protected
First and foremost I want this gofundme to be a surprise so pretty please do not post this to your wall. I do encourage you to private message it to as many people as you can think of though because what I am asking for is important. It is a bit of a read, but please just stick with it. Okay, so here goes:

Brandi is my best friend.

I feel like there are so many people out there in our community who could probably make the same statement, because Brandi is just the greatest. She is caring, honest and most importantly she is FUN. When you are around Brandi you feel like a rockstar. There is nothing you couldn’t tell Brandi without her trying to relate it to her own life. You never feel alone with Brandi. You are never bored with Brandi.

Toni is Brandi’s sister. Her full name is Antonia Fawn, which not only is a beautiful name, but it is so well suited to her personality. Toni at first seems to be timid and shy, much like a baby deer. Once you get to know Toni you will find the same qualities that Brandi possesses. Toni is an amazing listener, she is so kind with her words, and she is a true empath. She doesn’t just “feel your pain” as they say, she really feels your pain if you know what I mean.

These two ladies are beautiful in every way you could possibly imagine.

I am so grateful to have them in my tribe.

I love these girls.

These girls mean SO much to me, and my heart is just absolutely shattered with the cards they have been dealt this last year. Without having to go into great detail, as respect for the family this is what they have been through:

February of last year 2015 Brandi and Toni’s stepfather killed himself. He shot himself in their family home.

The whole family has been learning to cope with this tragic act of violence, but this isn’t a pain that time will heal sooner rather than later. This is a hurt and a loss that will be with this family forever.

Recent events have me shaking my head, questioning everything and honestly losing hope.

This last Tuesday, Brandi and Toni’s father committed suicide. Just a little over a year after the death of their beloved stepfather, their biological father makes the choice to leave this world. I am at a loss, I cannot make sense of this tragedy.

How could this happen to such wonderful people, not once but TWICE?!

These two girls mean so much to me.

I keep thinking that these two need some sort of miracle. Something AMAZING just has to be right around the corner for them, because how could two of the most pure-hearted women I have ever met be forced to endure such heartbreak?

This is real heart ache.

This is unlike anything I have been asked to cope with…

I know that this gofundme page will not bring back their father, nor their step-father and I know that money cannot buy happiness, but I think that if I can raise enough money to send them on a really awesome vacation where they can go someplace they didn’t expect to get to go, they might be able to get a new outlook on life. Maybe the world won’t look so cruel. Maybe they won’t feel so cheated… Maybe they won’t feel so alone… I just want a game-changer for them. A big, AMAZING moment where they feel loved and excited again.

Thanks for listening. If you cannot contribute anything, please do me three things: 1.) Share this link

2.) Have an open conversation with your loved ones about suicide awareness. We as a society need to get rid of the taboo that is related to mental health issues, and the first step is conversation.

3.) Love on your friends and family as much as possible. Everything can change in a second, and I really mean EVERYTHING. Don’t live the rest of your life with regrets. Hug. Apologize after fights. Forgive. It isn’t worth eternity.
