Donation protected
Hi all. The Under 13 Real Tubber Girls will complete their Socially Distant 5k on St Stephen’s day . The girls have trained hard over the past number of weeks . We are using the opportunity to seek to raise some funds for SHOUT & the Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Search & Rescue club. The club has one of the country's largest active Search and Recovery Unit, serving the community. The unit is totally voluntary responding to requests from statutory bodies and from local communities to assist in search and recovery operations all over the county and more recently in other counties. Over the years the members have been called upon on many occasions to assist in search and recovery missions. They work closely with the Gardai, Coast Guard and other agencies and are on call twenty four hours a day, 365 days a year. SHOUT was originally established in 2003 with the aim of targeting fundraising initiatives to benefit both the service and patients in the provision of better Cancer Care for the region. The committee comprises Sligo Regional Hospital specialist staff and members of the Sligo Business Community. We are dedicated to proactively supporting cancer patients and their families through their cancer journey, by: Supplementing existing services for patients in the North West Region. Financial Support to patients and their Families.
