Jack Buglino’s Memorial Fund

Donation protected
This is a memorial fund in honor of Jack Buglino, who passed away after a sixteen-month battle with cancer, sponsored by his three daughters Nicole, Coleen, and Jaclyn.

Our mom is the strongest woman we know and has spent her whole life caring for others. We want to do something that will help during this incredibly difficult time. Mom cared for Dad day and night throughout his entire cancer battle, including hospice care at home. She has been a pillar of strength for our family and Dad described her as his angel on earth.

We have set up this memorial fund to cover significant out-of-pocket expenses incurred over these past sixteen months of care. We would be so thankful if you would consider giving in honor of our parents, who are the most generous people we know. Thank you.

Dad’s Obituary:

Jack Buglino, 62, of Purcellville, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home, surrounded by loved ones, after a sixteen-month battle with cancer.

Jack was born in Passaic, New Jersey. He married the love of his life, Tara in 1983, and had three daughters, Nicole, Coleen, and Jaclyn. For the last 40 years, Jack worked in the pharmaceutical industry in several senior positions. He was known for his generosity, sense of humor, affectionate nature, and tirelessly providing for his family.

A talented lifelong athlete, Jack brought heart and speed to the field at every game. He had an avid love of football, and his devotion to the Los Angeles Rams and mastery of fantasy football were two of his most notorious trademarks.

In his spare time, Jack was a talented artist who displayed his skill through landscaping, woodworking, drawing, and painting. Also known as “Pop-Pop,” Jack loved spending time with his two granddaughters, playing with Play-Doh and making them laugh. His handmade wooden ornaments will continue to adorn the houses of his family every Christmas.

Jack is survived by his wife, Tara; his three daughters, Nicole Andrus and husband Chris of Swedesboro, New Jersey, Coleen Thomson and husband Jonathan of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and Jaclyn Yacek and husband John of Purcellville, Virginia; his two granddaughters Loralei Andrus and Kinsley Yacek; his brother Frank Buglino and wife Robyn of Manchester, New Jersey and his sister Joanne Casares and husband Jorge of Ashburn, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, Jack requested that no formal service be held for the safety of his loved ones and community. Therefore, the family will be celebrating his life in private.
