Making ends meet to get our things shipped

It is a hard thing to admit I need help, I have always had pride in being a strong independent women and mom... I have to sometimes admit I can’t do it alone. I made the choice to move home with my kids (ages 11,8,and 3 from the UK back to MO) there are many choices that led to that one. I believe it has been the right choice. When I began planning the move I had my finances in order, then the UK had a second lockdown. I am a child counselor specializing in Autism and and behavioral issues. The second lockdown had me take another hit to my practice. Being an expat made me ineligible for covid assistance and then the final blow, the center I was practicing at had to close due to the financial hit they took during lockdowns. So those things paired with a job offer in my hometown made the choice to move home easy. However with the second lockdown the cost of the move had gone up too. Then, Many of you saw the ordeal that was our flights home, and I am contact with the multiple airlines for the promised reimbursements, however not getting quick responses... as a result I am financially depleted and shy the 1k to get our 28 boxes of belongings shipped here. I have a job, I just can’t start until my MO LPC comes in ~6 weeks. I have means for food and shelter for the kids and me, I just have no extra. Any help you could give would be a true blessing.
