Help Whiskey run again

This is Whiskey, my sweet 6 year old pitty mix that we rescued from the Green Swamp in Florida. ️ Whiskey is a bed hog and a blanket thief, who loves cuddling and giving/getting hugs!! This Mama’s boy loves to have his chin scratched, especially when he is nestled on his blanket next to the fireplace! When he isn't running or playing you can find him basking in the sunshine! Whiskey has been my saving grace through many difficult times over the years, always sensing when I need him most! 

Recently, Whiskey was running around doing what he loves to do at the doggy park with all of his puppy friends when out of nowhere another dog attacked him. Long story short, Whiskey tore his ACL and needs surgery. We work hard every day to provide a safe, loving home for Whiskey and will do anything to keep him happy and healthy. We will have to pay the full cost of his surgery out of pocket since we do not have the option of insurance for our fur-babies. We are doing everything we can to get this surgery scheduled and now are humbly asking for help. We have a surgical consult on December 31st and will have all the details of what the surgery, recovery and financial obligation will entail. God-willing, with any help you have on your heart to give, we will be able to get this done. Any monies generated over the amount of the surgery will be donated to an animal shelter in Whiskey’s name, or given to another family who may be in the same situation with their fur-baby and in need of financial help.  

Asking for help like this is one of the hardest things for me to do. Thank you in advance for understanding our situation, taking the time to read about our Whiskey, and giving any help you can.
