Help a Single Mother Keep her House

Donation protected

I’m starting a gofundme account for a close friend of mine who has been struggling for the last 8 months and is currently in need of a miracle right now. Many of you know her,  Tracylou Herr ~ A.K.A Cupcake Lady!

What most of you don’t know is what an extremely rough time she has been having this year. She has gotten a divorce, and lost most of her household income. She has not received any support for the last 5 months. When asked how she should pay for the car and the house, her ex replied that the bank should just take it back.
The house will be going in her name once the divorce is finalized...but for now....The house is still In her exes name. He has refused to call the mortgage company to file a financial hardship to save the house.

Currently she is 7k behind in the mortgage and as of 2 weeks ago the only car available to Tracy and the kids, has been repossessed. They are currently without transportation, but willing to work out a bus schedule when needed. Lack of transportation has made it difficult to get to and from jobs.

Then, there has been the obstacle of getting a job. You see, during the last 8 months, Tracy has LITERALLY been through hell and back.

Tracy spent 5 months waiting to see if she had cancer or not. Covid had slowed down the process of getting biopsies and her surgery done. Luckily she has been cleared and no longer has to worry about such a dire prognosis.
While Tracy was waiting on the results, she was unable to get a job due to the uncertainty of what her medical treatment might entail and when. She was misdiagnosed with ductal carcinoma with the first biopsy and thought she would have to undergo chemo after they removed the mass from her breast. After The surgery, the good news that she didn’t have cancer, and she was cleared to work....Elisabeth ended up needing surgery. She is still recovering, but surgery went well for her and she’s doing well.

As if that wasn’t enough....Tracy recently got COVID. She has had to quarantine herself away from her kids for the last two weeks. Only getting to see them briefly and from a distance while masked up.

Even with all the cards stacked against her, Tracy has opened her home to an additional teenage boy who needs a place to live.

Tracy is someone who is always willing to do for others. She loves to make people happy and She brings major smiles to our mouths with her delicious confectionery. She has recently had to turn down orders because she has no transportation to pick up supplies or the money to pay for them.

There is however, light at the end of the tunnel. Tracy has interviews set up for John Deere! She has also enrolled For online courses at SNHU starting January 4th. Also, with the divorce being finalized, child support and alimony will kick back in again....but it will be 2-3 weeks from now before she start seeing any of that money.
So! Things WILL start looking up in the next several months for Tracy and her kids, providing she gets this job at John Deere.

But even with the future money coming in from employment, child support, and alimony, it is unlikely that Tracy will be able to catch up on her Mortgage payments before they foreclose on her house. For now.... she and the kids need our help badly.

Trust me when I say it has taken every ounce of courage for Tracy to allow me to share her story. She will always tell everyone that she’s doing fine....when the reality of it is.... She’s failing and scared shitless for the kids and herself. They need a huge boost from friends and family right now. They literally need a miracle to save their home. Please consider helping, if you can afford it financially. If not ~ Sending love, prayers, good thoughts, good vibes and all the good juju works too ♥️
