Steve Smith's Medical Fund

As many of you know, I rarely ever post anything online.  However, this is a matter that I feel is worth sharing.  My oldest brother, Steve, had to have surgery yesterday to repair a detached retina.  For whatever reason, his medical insurance would not cover the surgery.  Steve and Martha had to pay in excess of $6000 up front in order for Steve to get the surgery needed to save his sight.

Steve and Martha have devoted the last 30 years to the ministry.  Many of you, including myself, have been touched dearly in some way by these two.  I have never met a person who did not love Steve and Martha.  

As you know fulfilling the duties of a minister often comes with great sacrifice.  Steve and Martha have never balked at the sacrifices necessary to love and minister to those whom Steve has been a pastor.

Now it is our chance to reciprocate the love that Steve and Martha have always been so faithful to show others. Steve and Martha would never ask, but I am asking on their behalf that you pray about what God would have you do, and donate however the Holy Spirit leads.  All donations will go directly to Steve and Martha to help cover their medical expenses.
