Homeless family in need of home

I am a social worker with King County Office of Public Defense working with a homeless family; a mom and her four sons (9years, 7years, 3years, and 11 months), who are currently living in a family shelter in Seattle. The mom works part-time on the weekend and has worked really hard to completely turn her and her family's life around.

This family has the opportunity to move into an affordable 2-bedroom apartment! They need urgent help with $1,400 towards a previous eviction (from 7 years ago) that is preventing her from being able to move in and give her family a fresh start! Any additional funds will go towards tangible needs for the family like bedding, towels, food, etc. 

The mom will be able to work more hours in the future once she's settled. In the meantime, we have tried to find any possible resource to assist, unfortunately the family doesn't qualify for any community service programs for this purpose. 

If we can raise this money by the end of Wednesday 6/8/16, she should meet the deadline to be able to secure the apartment.
