Missions Trip to Hosanna Ethiopia

When I was just a teenager, God placed in my soul a burden for the people of Africa. I had several penpals across the continent, and communicated with them faithfully until I went to college. I didn't understand it then, why I would still hold on to their letters, or why the little Nigerian boy, whom I adopted through the Children's Christian Fund, was the only picture I ever kept on my desk. even though he had eyes that made me cry.
Who would have thought that after 39 years of marriage, more than 3 decades as a registered nurse, raising 2 beautiful children and becoming ordained as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that the same burden would still be there and that God would give me an opportunity to utilize all that He has gifted me with to fulfill my dreams.
And so with your help I will be going on my first medical missionary trip to Hosanna, Ethiopia on September 2, 2016 for 10 days. At a time in my life when many people are thinking about retirement, I am honored that God has seen more fit to refire me as I seek to fulfill all that He has placed in my heart to do, and Go into all the world...
I will work with a medical team to provide free medical, dental, and vision care to all who will come. After their physical needs have been met, I will have the added privilege of praying with them as I share the love of Jesus so their spiritual needs can be met as well!
You can join me as I pour out my heart to convey God's love to every soul I encounter and see His miraculous power as healing takes place . If you are unable to give financially, please sow in prayer for Him to get all the Glory as Jesus is uplifted! All donations will be used towards funding the trip which includes airfare, lodging, food and my visa. No amount is too large or too small.
I want to thank each of you for reading this message and supporting this trip. The preparation is great, but the rewards will be so much greater!
