Olivia's Israel Trip

Hey family and friends. As many of you know, I am a graduate student at the University of Georgia studying public health management. After completing my first year, I have become genuinely passionate about transforming the United States healthcare system to one that provides economically responsible, universal care to the deserving people of our nation. As a future leader in the field of public health it is important to me that I explore the intricacies of healthcare systems that currently provide quality, universal care outside the U.S. That is why I am asking for your support in helping fund my trip to Haifa, Israel as a transfer student at the University of Haifa.

This past year my mother and I have saved enough money for my plane ticket, tuition to both UGA and UH, and boarding expenses but have fallen a little short. Today I am coming to you all in hopes to raise just enough money for travel expenses to and from the hospital, simple living expenses, and fees for trips to Jerusalem, Nesher Park, and a few other historical cities I have only dreamed of.

Starting June 13th I will be living in Israel for two months and would greatly appreciate any help you can offer at this time. I truly can't express how thankful I am for all of the encouraging words and prayers I have received thus far. My goal is to raise only $1,500-- one of the principles I've learned while in school is how to stretch a dollar! I only have a week to raise this amount, so every little bit counts, honestly. This may sound like a longshot, but with your help I am confident that the hands-on experience I'll gain in the classroom and hospital will allow my colleagues and I to improve upon our healthcare system and the lives of millions.
