285km Cycle in Aid of the Irish Cancer Society

Donation protected

Greetings friends and family.
As some of you may already know, September is Blood Cancer awareness month. For those who are not familiar with blood cancers, there are three main types; Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. Sadly, there are more than 1,900 cases of blood cancers diagnosed in Ireland every year.

On the 27th and 28th of September I hope to cycle a total of 285km from Dublin to Cork in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, who fund blood cancer research. This charity cycle is being organised by Pfizer Ireland who are managing and co-ordinating the event. This cycle begins in Pfizer's site in Grange Castle, Co. Dublin, where myself and the rest of the Pfizer team will cycle 120km down to Kilkenny and stay overnight. On day two we will cycle 165km from Kilkenny to the Pfizer site in Ringaskiddy.

I hope to raise at least €300 for this great cause, all of which will go straight to the Irish Cancer Society and their blood cancer research.
I'm sure we all know somebody-be it friends or family- who have suffered from this cruel disease. Therefore, I kindly ask you to make a donation, big or small, as a little bit will go along way!
