Grandpa needs in home care

Hey everyone, it is with an extremely heavy heart that I say my grandfather has been diagnosed with renal (kidney) failure. He has been put on hospice care as he is too frail to do dialysis or a transplant. We are unsure of how much time we have left with him but for the time being, he is doing really well, given the circumstances. His daughters, my mother and my aunt, have been his main caregivers since my grandmother passed two years ago. His wishes are to stay home where he's comfortable and where he can see his family, so we are honoring that and trying to do our best keep him happy and positive. His insurance is covering hospice care 3x a week during the day right now. My mom and aunt have been taking turns staying overnight with him but we've all come to realize that arrangement is unsustainable and we need extra help. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover in home senior care and it's an out of pocket expense. An expensive one.
