We are all saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Naomi, daughter to Breanna Kateri Doucette-Garr. Naomi, during her four years on earth, blessed all those she met with her big warm heart. She was always smiling, laughing and eager to explore and learn.
Many of you know Breanna and her little Naomi. Breanna is an active student at the University of Saskatchewan and an involved community member in Saskatoon and her home of English River First Nation. At the University of Saskatchewan, Breanna is active with the Indigenous Students Council, Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre and Peer Assisted Learning. Breanna is planning for a future of giving back and supporting her community, she is admitted to the College of Nursing for the fall.
During this time of deep grieving for Breanna and her family, we ask past and present students, friends, faculty and community members to help Breanna and her family with funeral expenses and other expenses that may arise.
Any donation is warmly appreciated and will help Breanna and her family celebrate the life of Naomi.
