Shannon's Bridge Palliative Care
Donation protected
Shannon McKnight, was 19 year when she died in 2016 after living with Leukaemia for 2 years.
Shannon was able to be at home in regional Victoria for her last days outstanding Palliative Care support we received from local services and community supports.
Palliative care funding is very limited, the people working within this industry do a wonderful job but are stretched very thinly. This means that, unfortunately many people requiring palliative care services are unable to receive the help they require. Having support from the community as well as formal health services enables families to have their loved ones at home and help them themselves should something happen.
We are happy to give you further information and also please check out our website for more information.
