Give Up Spirits to Give the Holiday Spirit

Hi everyone... This GoFundMe has been created to support families that are in need during this time. The holidays can be such a stressful time and can create a financial burden for many (especially during COVID times). About a year ago a friend of mine and I had embarked on a alcohol free journey and one of the benefits that we noticed was how much of our money was being saved for no longer spending it on alcohol. To give to others during this holiday season Brandon and I have teamed up to give some of these savings and sponsor 2-3 families that are going through dificult times during the holiday season. However we knew that there are more families in need...and so we wanted to create this GoFundMe to see if we can reach out to 3 additional families. If people would give up one drink and donate $5-$10 the cost for one drink to raise the money to support these families in need. ($300 each roughly) Each family would get 1 Christmas tree 3-4gifts And a gift card for a local grocery store. The families will be from local support groups and community out reach programs that know specifically which families are in need during this time. From the 20th to the 23rd of December all items will be hand delivered to all families from the Houston community and will be documented via photos and video to share with you how your contribution has helped bring a little bit of holiday spirit to those in need.
