Help Duke get Leg Surgery!

Hi everyone, Meet Duke! Two short weeks ago the animal shelter got a call that a stray dog had been hit by a car. They took him to the Animal Emergency Hospital next door to my work. When I saw him, I instantly fell in love and wanted to rescue him. His X-rays showed bb pellets and I just knew he came from a rough life and deserved a second chance at life; a loving home. He suffered open wounds on both of his back paws. We have been taking care of his wounds since we rescued him, however, during his recent check up, the vet said he has a broken bone in his leg and will need surgery. Unfortunately, that surgery is a significant amount of money, so for now he has been given a splint to help.
