28 year old Clairidge worker seriously injured

"These are the people who love me. The only ones who love me always." My brother says to the nurse who has come to take him to Radiology for about the twelfth xray in three days. He has tears in his eyes and grasps at the air while saying, "Don't leave me. Don't leave me". And then clutches his left side of his body and says, "The pain. So much pain".
My brother, Alexander (Daniel) Sametz was the 28 year old man who was injured on a Clairidge building site in Ottawa on the morning of Wednesday August 14th, 2019. A fire extinguisher landed on his left shoulder causing multiple fractures and trauma to the left side of his body.
The extent of his injuries include:
> Head trauma & a brain bleed;
> Dislocated left shoulder;
> Broken clavicle - left side;
> Broken scapula - left side;
> 2 broken ribs on the left side;
> Punctured lung (pneumothorax) - left side; and
> 2 fractured vertebrae in the mid lumbar (his spine).
A tube has recently been inserted in his chest which goes into his left lung to drain the fluid accumulated in his collapsed lung.
My brother has a long journey ahead of him, and will need much more help than any assistance program can offer him in the coming weeks and months. It's likely that he will be unable to return to work in any capacity for a very long time.
Seeing his face is like a face unbeknownst to me. I have never seen such exhaustion, pain, and confusion on any face in the entirety of my life.
