Jadaymah's radiant smile with her fierce ability to light up a room, her soaring intellect and genius mind for solving any problem and with just an endless compassion for people has made her a priceless gift to all of us who had the good fortune to know her. Jadaymah entered our life and became just like a part of our family during her teenage years. We had the privilege of watching her grow as she conquered any obstacle set before her. She graduated Valedictorian of her class in 2014 and I remember watching as she addressed her class with such grace and composure. She had the world at her feet as she entered Georgia Tech with academic scholarships. Jadaymah has soared academically and has been a phenomenal roll model and leader amongst her peers for the past 2 years. Such an incredible young woman with a limitless future.
We are all in shock and our hearts are broken at the tragic news of her passing.
Perhaps Jadaymah was so successful at not wanting to burden others with her suffering that none of us truly understood the depth of her pain.
If there was ever anyone who would reach out to help her friends and family with an altruistic hand it was Jadaymah. Now we must hold Jadaymah's family close and reach out to them.
Jimmy and Vicki Waller are amazing, loving parents who have raised seven children together while Jimmy has worked his entire life in the construction field. This incredible family would never ask for help but they would be the first to step forward to help anyone in need.
If you can help alleviate some of the financial burden for Jadaymah's family as they make arrangements for Jadaymah's memorial service and expenses then please help support this fund. If you cannot help financially would you please pray for the Waller family as they mourn the loss of their precious child, Jadaymah. She was such an incredible young lady with an absolutely beautiful mind.
If you are ever suffering so deeply that you feel nobody could ever understand- please please know that everyone has experienced those awful, isolating feelings. Never assume that you are the only one who ever felt this way – it’s not true. At the moment when you feel most alone, you must be your most courageous, and reach out for help. If your friend is hurting themselves- you must step in. Look out for each other. Be brave. Risk losing a friend in order to help them. Share your deepest fears with each other, and your biggest dreams. Loving one another is wonderful and life-giving, but also very risky and challenging but it is the best thing you will ever do. Be bold, take a deep breath, and reach out.
