My old roommate is getting married! I got married last year, but now it's her turn, and I want it to be all that she deserves. The stinky part: she's one of 9 kids, and the wedding funds ran out after they married off the first two. Her parents make next to nothing and have given her only $400 towards her big day. All that they have left goes into traveling to the wedding. Even worse off, the groom has one deceased parent and another that has been too sick to work for years.
Devorah has a kind heart. If she was paid for all of the hours she puts into volunteer work, she wouldn't need any help. She has worked two paying jobs all the years that I've known her, and is very responsible (I wish I could say the same for myself). She's used up all of her savings and has far too much pride to ask for assistance, so I'm secretly doing it for her. If you knew the joy she spreads, you'd want to bring joy to her.
