Dentures for Ameyalli’s grandma Rosa Robles

Hi all! This year for my 34th birthday I’m asking for help to get dentures for Ameyalli’s beautiful grandma, Rosa Robles Contreras. She lives in Nogales, Sonora and we miss her greatly. She had an emergency tooth removal yesterday, leaving her with only 3 teeth, so we want to get her dentures so she can enjoy the food she always prepares for the whole family!
The good news is dentistry in Nogales isn't that expensive, and it will only cost $8000 pesos to do the procedure. The bad news is, each of the adults in Rosa's household are working for $100 pesos a day or less that's (4-5 dollars a day), and they recently had to take out a loan of $9000 pesos from the bank to pay their debts to the electric and water companies. Because of the pandemic border closures, Ame's tata Rafa and his aunties have been unable to work here in Tucson or Phoenix for US minimum wage, which helped the household survive in prior years. Any funds over the initial goal will go towards helping the family pay their utility debt.
The picture above is of the epic adventure when we went to visit Anahid who was studying nursing at the time in Magdalena de Kino, about an hour outside of Nogales. The clutch on my Versa burned out on the way back, but luckily we were stranded next to a ranch and were able to dine on 2 pounds of fresh farm cheese as the sun went down and we waited for the tow truck. Then Guillermo shipped a new clutch to us from Tucson, and grandpa Rafa (below, left) put the new clutch in with the car up on tires in the front yard.
