Alec "Tiptoe" Schmidt Benefit

Our family experienced the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Alec "Tiptoe" Schmidt on Thursday June 2, 2016 to suicide. As you can imagine the loss of a 17 year old is untimely and no parent should ever have to experience this type of tragedy.
Alec was an amazing, smart, witty, charismatic, not to mention handsome (see pics below) social butterfly. He was a passionate gamer who at one time was professional until age limitiations changed that. He was the backbone of Onslaught and many people knew what an amazing and up and coming gamer he was.
Alec loved his friends and family more than anything. Suicide is not something anyone ever expects, especially when there were no signs. We know that this was completely out of Alec's character and may never know why, but we do know that he loved us and would have never done something like this had he thought about the pain we are all experiencing right now.
Our unexpected loss has left us searching for ways to honor Alec and unfortunately our family does not have the means to pay for all of the circumstances around the death of Alec. It is not like us to ever ask for anything and if you knew Alec, you know this to be true of him as well, but we are asking for your help at this time to eliviate this unexpected financial burden.
Our family is more than grateful for anything you can give. The funeral will be Tuesday June 7 with times and location to be posted soon. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and support. We are heartbroken.
