Reverend Crystal Zerfoss TBI Injury

Dear Family and Friends, new and old, near and far........... As you may or may not know, our beloved Reverend Crystal Zerfoss suffered a traumatic brain injury on 1 January 2020, resulting in a concussion and other complications, including Post Concussion Syndrome and an anxiety disorder. She has been steadily improving since, but still gets overwhelmed at times by stimuli making it impossible for her to do many daily tasks like walk outside to get her mail, prepare ingredients for meals, drive a car, read a book, unwind watching a favorite TV show, etc........... Before her injury, Reverend Crystal devoted herself to others. She was serving as a minister to two congregations, was a staunch advocate for LGBTQI+ rights and movements to secure the equality of all people, and engaged with friends and family regularly. She was almost always in the middle of a puzzle with more than 10,000 pieces, she loved jumping on her bike and getting into the water with her kayak as often as possible, and was a ball of joy to everyone in her orbit........... Crystal misses all of these things and, unfortunately, at this time, we do not have an estimate of when she will be able to once again partake in these activities. To add to the hardship, Crystal has had to pause her activity in her ministry and no longer has an income to help offset the medical costs........... We have closely examined her expenses and now humbly ask each of you for financial assistance, if you can.
