Hello, I’m Giselle. I’ve been living my life as a trans woman for the last 8 years. Transitioning has been one of the biggest accomplishment I’ve ever had because I told myself I would never do it. But I decide to find true happiness within myself. It’s been a hard journey from being homeless at the age of 15, discrimination and sexual harassment with employment. As well as the daily dysphoria I face. For the last 5 years I’ve been working hard trying to get surgeries. But from life and also being denied from my insurance I haven’t been successful. I also told myself I wouldn’t make a GoFundMe because of my pride. But I had to really sit back and think is my pride more than my happiness and Mental health. I’m going out on a limb with this fundraiser. Anything will help and I’m truly grateful. I will as well be putting money back in my GoFundMe.
