Hunter's Healing Heart

My wife and I created this page to "Help Hunter's Healing Heart". We are the proud Aunt and Uncle of this beautiful creation.  On June 1st 2016 at 9:09 am Troy and Amanda Zimmerman brought their third child into the world.   Hunter Derek Zimmerman was 7 lbs 13 oz, 20 inches long and with a full head of california blonde hair! All smiles turned to fear when the Pediatrician noticed that some things were not right.  Hunter was not getting  oxygen to his extremities.  The pediatriction reacted quickly and they transported Hunter to Geisinger.  At Geisinger they diagnosed Hunter with Dextro- Transposition of the Greater Arteries.  His arteries in his heart are reversed (causing him to not get enough oxygen in his blood). Surgeons pierced a hole in his heart to stabilize him.  Hunter is currently at CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) awaiting OPEN HEART SURGERY :(.  
            Your generous contributions will cover daily costs that the mother and father will face over the next 3 weeks.  The operation will last 3 hours with a 8-10 day recovering time at the Hospital.  During this time  Troy and Amanda will not be generating any income, they will be by their son's side 24/7 showering him with love and support.  Hunter's older brother's Taylor (6) and Carter (3) unfortunately can not be with mommy and daddy during this time.  They will be staying 3 hours away with loved ones.
