Support the Richardsons

As many of you may know, our sister Kate experienced a life-changing tragedy last week, when her husband Chuck abruptly suffered a hemorrhagic stroke as a result of a ruptured aneurysm. In the best case scenario, Chuck will need extensive intensive care and hospitalization, followed by a likely prolonged recovery.

Kate and her two amazing kids, Avery (10) & Dutch (7), are currently standing beside Chuck as he fights for his life. We have been honored to be here in the hospital with them, bearing witness to their tears, grief, and hopes for their beloved husband and father.

As a result of these extenuating circumstances, we have become acutely aware of the need for a community-wide effort to support this beautiful family during this, the hardest time of their lives.

Kate hopes to send the kids to a great day camp near their home this summer; a plan she hopes will provide stability, fun, and a sense of normalcy for Avery and Dutch. Your donations would make this possible. In addition, any donations to this campaign in excess of these costs (camp will cost around $5,000.00 in total), will go directly to Kate to cover her family's cost of living and other needs as she transitions into being the primary earner for the family.

We believe in miracles. We hope for Chuck's complete recovery from this terrible injury. But we know that no matter what happens, right now, in this moment, Chuck needs us - all of us - to be his hands and heart for Kate, Avery, and Dutch.
