Fundraiser for my dog Jess

Hello everyone, I'll try to keep this short and simple. The last two days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for me starting Thursday morning when Jess had jumped the fence and gotten hit by a passing car. There was no way for the driver to react in time as Jess had sprinted out into the middle of the road the moment she saw me come out of the front door, nor do I hold the person that hit her responsible in any way as he had no time to even see her run across. Me and my brother quickly rushed her to the ER for an intensive checkup as she seemed to have a heavy concussion, and one of her eyes had popped out of the socket. I was concerned there may be broken bones or ruptured organs based on the speed that she got hit by, but luckily Jess made it out with just a few scratches, minus the fact that her left eye was not responding to any optical stimulus. The prognosis was to undergo surgery the following day (today) to remove the eye before the socket gets infected or swells anymore. Six hours after the surgery, the anesthesia has (mostly) worn off and I was given the green light to come pick her up  she is now at home, happily curled up next to me as I'm typing this. It's definitely going to take her some time to adjust to having one eye, but I am incredibly grateful to have her back safe and sound.
