Help me Facebook Kenobi, you’re my only hope!

Here’s one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done! Start a go fund me. Why? What started as a joking conversation, moved into “Hey, for my birthday, maybe?” So, I’m a Star Wars nerd. Always have been. Years ago, I obtained a 8X10 glossy photo at a comic con and had it signed by David Prowse (Darth Vader) and Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) from The Empire Strikes Back. Met them, got it signed, it was great. I picked the photo with Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) on it and always said “Someday I’ll get him to sign this too.” Well, I missed the boat last year when he may his rounds. After the very sad passing of David Prowse a few days ago, I reached out to my Friend Will Bozarth who is the master of obtaining autographs, and he gave me a contact for Billy Dee Williams. Guess what... He’ll sign it for me. I just need to mail it to him with a check of course. Lando gotta eat. So, I need to do this. One way or another I’ll be risking this photo in the mail to get this signature. So I figure, what a great Birthday gift! Hahaha! So, I’m not seriously expecting ANYONE to actually donate anything for something this trivial and useless. It’s not even about the money, it’s about how cool this would be on my wall with a fantastic story about some friends helped me do this. So, for my birthday, if you have even a dollar to spare, I’ll come up with some cool way to thank everyone who contributes. I told you this was dumb!
