Update: My attorney, Ms. McCoy now has the $1,000. Of the retainer needed to work on getting babies returned to me. Today she has asked for the remaining $500.00 of the rest of the retainer to even talk to people. Please help me and my babies be together again. My heart is breaking, I am not sleeping, my heart hurts, literally.
Hello everyone,
I was working with the HSHV on surrendering some cats that were already spayed and neutered.
I had made arrangements to do so through the intake dept. Well after my second visit, the cruelty dept came to my home and took everyone, even my 14 year old dog.
I begged to keep him and my 4 cats and my moms one cat.
They would not budge.
So now on to happenings since then..
They came into my home, ransacked, broke things(which I need to replace), and left things totally overturned.
They took my elderly loved animals from me, even though I would not sign them over. They have been in cages away from me for almost two months. CRUEL
All the cats they took have been adopted out within 5 weeks time. Obviously healthy and friendly. Not abused.
They told me an investigation was submitted the next day, which was a lie. It has not been yet.
They Told me this would be resolved in two weeks. Another lie.
They charged people 100 to 135 for adoptions which covered spaying and neutering, which was already taken care of...another lie to the public.
They tried to adopt out my mom's cat that I did not surrender, luckily I looked at their page daily to see who was adopted.
How can a place be called because of a report of too many cats when someone is working with them and still come in and be so cruel. None of my babies have ever been caged, my dog and cats have never been away from me. One cat is 18 years old.
People say they are a great place. They are cruel behind the scenes.
I'm asking for help with the final lawyer expenses to get my babies home out of cages. Please bring them home.
