Help for Rent, food & monthly bills

Hello everyone, For the first time in my life I found myself in such a difficult situation that left me no other option but to ask for help. Like many others I had problems with reduced hours at work, reduced paycheck, lost work days during lockdown while trying to keep up with my rent and bills. It was difficult, but I managed until today. I did not have enough funds to cover my rent on the first of December and asked my landlord to wait for two weeks to deposit the check I gave him, but he managed to cash it. The bank paid the full amount of the check because, I was told by the teller, I had a good standing with the bank. In this case, it would be better if I hadn’t. As a result, my bank account now has a negative balance. This left me with no money for food and transportation for at least two weeks as well as with impossibility to pay my next rent on time. This is why I gathered all my courage to use GoFundMe platform and ask you for help. Being alone here, far from home and without family support, is not easy, as many of us know, we have to work harder to fulfill our dreams and start a new life. It is not easy to ask for help when you try to be independent by working hard and still not being able to get ahead and allow yourself to miss a day of work. Every penny counts. And when such thing as inability of the landlord to be understanding and compassionate could create a financial disaster that you won’t be able to recover from unless you ask for help.
