New cello

Hi my name is Liz, I’m a freshman in college in need of a new cello. I began playing cello in 6th grade on a student level instrument and I still play on a student level instrument currently. Since then, playing cello in an orchestra has become my passion. I’m now a music performance major at the University of West Florida, and while I have received various scholarships, they don’t begin to cover the steep expense of a professional level cello. If I can acquire a professional grade cello I’ll be much more likely to land myself a spot in a symphony. The arts are an important part of the community, but they are largely underfunded, especially during these tough economic times. Supporting a young musician like myself will help ensure the prosperity of the arts in a small, but meaningful way. Any amount is appreciated!
