KhudKaar House is a community center which aims to improve the lives of people in District Layyah by empowering them through education and skill-building.
According to a report, 91% of the population of Layyah is consuming less income than required for their basic needs.

Provided Offers and Resources:
-We will be offering skill training programs including stitching, designing, painting, graphic designing and web development and help them find ways to start earning.
-The centre will have few PCs & laptops and free internet access for the locals. This will help them connect to the global community and promote their products.
-A public library with free access to the locals will also be a part of the centre. This will help them to connect to the wider world and understand different perspectives.

About Project Head:
Wardah Noor is a 21 years old social worker and activist who is working for her community since past 3 years. She is a student of Law at LUMS & is currently on a gap year to work on Khudkaar House.
Projects led by Wardah Noor:-
1. Free Educational Seminars:
She has conducted free educational seminars and has counseled more than 8000 students regarding university admission processes.
2. Harassment Awareness:
She has conducted sessions in different schools with 600-700 students (both males and females) to raise awareness regarding everyday harassment issues.
3. Transgender Rights:
Collaborating with trans activists, she has helped them fight the cases of violence and raise awareness regarding trans rights.
4. Dreams Scholarship:
She started a scholarship program providing Rs.2000 monthly along with mandatory training sessions to the female students of under-privileged areas.
5. Project 100:
Under this project, a number of families are provided with monthly ration. Donors can donate Rs.100 minimum per month.
6. Covid Relief Activities:
She led ration drive campaign in Layyah, Khushab and Quetta during lockdown. Almost 30 lac rupees were fundraised and families of daily wage workers were supported through it.

Fixed Cost: Rs. 475,000
5 Sewing Machines: Rs. 75,000
4 Computers: Rs. 60,000
1 Projector: Rs. 60,000
Furniture: Rs. 50,000
1 Camera: Rs. 80,000
Raw Material Cost: Rs. 50,000
Others: Rs. 100,000
Variable Cost: Rs. 210,000 (for 6 months)
Monthly Operational Cost for Center: Rs. 25,000
Monthly Cost for Training items: Rs. 10,000

How to Collaborate:
You can either donate the aforementioned items or provide fixed funds for the project. You will be announced as our partner on our website and social media accounts. Moreover, a banner with the logos of donor companies or associations will be placed at KhudKaar House.
This can count as CSR activity of companies and stores as well.
