Help with Joey’s Vet Bill

Joey, the sweetest and softest chihuahua you’d ever meet, was attacked by a neighbors pit bull on Friday. He was pulled through a slat on the fence. The owner heard the commotion and ran out and grabbed Joey from his dog. Joey was rushed up to Blue Pearl where he was tended to and stabilized to undergo surgery. He has a couple of drains placed ans multiple areas that were stitched, one particular area is us concern of the skin around it dying, due to the severity of the bite. Praise God, x-rays showed Joey’s chest cavity was not punctured. The owner of the pit will not help with any costs. Joey’s mom just recently lost her job due to Covid, so I’d love to help her and Joey out! Joey would be beyond excited to smother you in kisses once he’s feeling up to it and his momma, Lexi, would be forever grateful in the help. Joey is back home with his momma, getting TLC and around the clock care.
