Asking for prayers and donations for a family.

UPDATE 1/4/21 Hi everyone. This will be the last post we will be posting for GoFundMe and won’t be posting on the Facebook fundraiser any longer. Here is what has taken place since my last update. Last week we finally got the new tires and the water/refrigeration system fixed on Thursday. On Friday she had an accident(she was at fault) which totaled their car and the car of the other party involved. I’ve said it before that if not for bad luck they would have no luck at all. So we reached out to as many people as we could and found a great deal on a much better and way more reliable car than they had. We pulled as much money as possible (luckily she had just gotten paid) and we were able to purchase it. The only issue it has is that the transmission slips every once and a while when driving on city streets. Our wonderful friend is going to look at it tomorrow to see if it is an easy fix or if it needs a whole new transmission. Hopefully it can just be fixed. We are trying to prepare ourselves for the worst. With that being said, it took her whole check plus some of us to help her purchase it so now we need extra money to help her get through this month until she gets paid again and money to go towards the transmission. So those are the reasons we are reaching out to our friends and families for a last round of donations. I know it seems like I’ve been asking for money for forever, but really it’s only been a little over a month. I was just as surprised that, that is all it’s been also. Anyway if you’ve already donated (or haven’t yet donated) and could possibly donate (even the smallest amount) again (or for the first time) I would be eternally grateful (not that I’m not already). As I stated in the beginning of my post this will be the last post I will be sending out. I hope everyone had a safe, healthy and the best possible holidays (given the craziness that we are all having to under go)with everything that has been going on during 2020. I pray that 2021 is a better year for all of us and things can go back to something that resembles “normal”. Almost everyone I know has had some degree of the virus. I thank God every day that our household has not been affected (infected, ha) and we are all are very diligent with our safety precautions and haven’t let our guard down. I’m so blessed in so many ways but more than anything I’m blessed to have the best, loving, giving, selfless and loyal family and friends that anyone could have and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you! Love to all, Lori❤️ UPDATE 12/21/2020: I am sending this out through messenger because I found out (due to FB algorithms ) not everyone is seeing this post. I am by no means calling anyone out. I’m just trying to get this out to as many people I can in hope that you will donate, share on your posts and pray. They have finally arrived in Texas a few days ago. Unfortunately we are running out of money because they have gotten stranded twice because they have had two tires go out and we have had to replace them. I think it might have something to do with the change in climate but that’s just guess. We had to borrow money for the uhaul, car tow and some extra to get them here. In total it’s $1,300. that needs to be paid back and we will need money for the first months rent. The reason we were short is because it took us so long to get them here and we were using the money in gas (running it nonstop due to the freezing temperatures), meals and laundromats etc. I am so thankful for all the money that has been donated so far. We are half way there and just need to make it to the finish line. I’m asking (begging) that you can find it in your heart to help my friends out. ANY amount you can donate will be sooo appreciated! Love to all! Merry Christmas, Lori UPDATE 12/13/2020 As of today they will have been homeless living in their car for two weeks. Every day that goes by we are losing money so they can eat, drink, keep gas in the car because they are running it to keep warm in the Ohio climate. I have prayed, begged, pleaded, cried and have been having panic attacks because watching them go through this is breaking my heart. It’s been 9 days since they were in a hotel room I paid for because she is in so much pain and her health is failing her. Unfortunately we can’t afford to do that again or we will never get the money needed. I just need enough to get them here. I have a place for them to stay once they get here. Right now I have enough for gas, one night hotel room so they can rest while they are driving and food. The thing I need help with is the uhaul and car tow to get them here which is $900.00. Please find it in your heart to help me help them giving us a miracle. I know things have been hard for everyone this year and it’s Christmas. We need as many prayers and shares as we can get and no donation is too small. Please find it in your heart to help them. You all know me and know that this money is in my possession and going towards what I have said it’s for. I am managing the donations so that everything is on the up and up. Any amount that you can send will help this wonderful family. Unfortunately they are out of state and I can not provide a place for them to stay. I know it’s the holidays and we are all experiencing hard times but I’m am praying you will find it in your heart to help this family. This family is an actual friend of mine personally and I am just not able to do this on my own. I will personally be getting the profits to them. I don’t know if the $3,500. Is going to be enough to get them where they need to be, but I’m hoping it will be a starting point.
