Stuff a Stocking for a Shelter Pet

Donation protected
Hi everyone!! It’s that time of year where I will once again be collecting to “stuff a stocking for a shelter pet”. I will once again be collecting items for all of our amazing pets at the shelter. This year I am focusing on many of our dogs who are not located in the shelter’s main dog room. These are the dogs that are often overlooked and/or have been with us for a while.......dogs like Po, Kylo, Paws, Raleigh, Lola, and Mr Beez to just name A FEW. This is why it is so important to look at our website before coming to the shelter https://aacspca.org/adoptable-animal-search/#Available_Dogs While there will be a general “Santa’s Sack” which you can donate towards, I have also purchased large “stockings” to fill up with Christmas presents such as toys, sweaters, blankets, etc. I will be sharing letters to Santa from our shelter dogs so that you can learn more about them. Due to COVID and restrictions I will not be personally running around to collect, instead there are many options if you wish to donate. You can...... Sponsor Christmas for a specific dog or dogs by shopping yourself and sending it our way to stuff, shop and drop off for“Santa’s Sack” in which all the gifts collected will be distributed amongst the dogs ensuring each dog has a gift Christmas morning. Make a donation to this Go Fund Me and leave the shopping to Santa’s helpers.....unless you specify you want your donation to go toward a specific dog, Santa’s helpers will be out shopping and will distribute all items among all the dogs. Shop yourself and ship directly to me to stuff the stocking with. With the SPCA’s new home at The Annapolis Mall or even by just shopping Amazon smile.amazon.com/ch/52-0609154, all will benefit the AASPCA and there are so many wonderful holiday gifts! Make a general donation to the AASPCA at https://aacspca.org/ways-to-give-individuals/ where your general donation will go toward things like medical care and food. Last year Kevin and I were able to purchase and collect enough toys and fun Christmas items for every single dog the shelter was caring for and that was IN ADDITION to the generous outpouring of the gifts from the community. I would love to be able to stuff all stockings for so many pets!!! I look into the eyes of the abandoned, the abused, and the neglected often and they smile at me because they know they are safe. The staff and the volunteers do everything in their power to provide them with the happiness that every dog deserves until someone comes along who we can trust with these precious babies and we certainly cannot do it without the help from the community and friends. A ball throwing session, a car ride, a snuggle, or stuffie shredding makes the biggest difference in their lives. If you see a dog you would like to sponsor Christmas for and want to know more about them, please reach out me!! Although I focus on the pups of the shelter, if there is a cat or petite you would like to donate towards please let me know and I will get the information from the appropriate handler or provide your donation to the handlers for distribution. Please consider contributing toward this wonderful cause!! Thank you so Much for your Generosity and stay tuned for post holiday happiness pictures so you can what a difference you made!
