Send Pelly to the Jr World Champs

My name is Pelly-Vincent Braun, this is my second year representing Canada on the Junior National Whitewater Slalom Team. As a member of the team I will be representing Canada in Krakow, Poland at the Jr World Championships July 14-17, 2016. This is a self funded event and I need your help to get me there so I can represent Canada and the Yukon.

I have lived in the Yukon my entire life and have been paddling almost since day one, growing up in an outdoor oriented family. I started competing in slalom in 2012 and have been pleased with my successes, especially since we do not have well developed slalom program or slalom course in the Yukon to train on.

I am seeking your to help get me to Poland so I can continue to grow as an athlete.  My goal is to compete at a high level, improve on my personal bests, see new places, met new people, and continue to enjoy paddling.

Competing in slalom is expensive as I have to fly with my boat to competitions and training camps. My expenses exceed $10,000  a year. Your support will help me to cover coaching costs, accommodations, food, air travel, as well as race registration fees while I am in Poland. Total costs will be over $6000.
