Edna Taylor's Funeral Expenses

UPDATE FOR MARCH 2021:

Loosing my mother has been extremely hard. On a personal level, you can never prepare for a loss of a parent. On a financial level, unfortunately there were no preparations in place, as it was so sudden. Covid played a large part in her passing, though Mom never had the coronavirus. Due to the sheer number of resources devoted to covid patients, dialysis equipment she needed to save her life was unavailable, so her kidneys failed quickly.

She passed away on Thanksgiving day, 2020, and three days later was my birthday, which we spent driving straight through from our home in Montana back to handle all of Mom's end of life matters. We were unsure when we would be able to get her cremated but due to donations from generous members of the community, we were able to get her cremated and have a beautiful virtual service at her home church.

Once again, though, we are asking for help, for donations to handle everything. My mom had a lot of medical issues throughout her life that built up many bills that have to be taken care of, along with her house and car. She had no life insurance so that leaves us with a hefty sum to try and come up with, along with clearing out her home, and making our way back across country to continue our life. We encourage and ask you to share this, as the more eyes it gets in front of, the more help we can get for my mother's memory. Every donations helps, even $5. Every prayer helps.

We thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for sharing.

ORIGINAL:
Hello everyone! We are raising money to try and help pay our mother, Ms. Edna's expenses while she is in the ICU on life support. We are raising funds to help pay her house and car note, electricity and water bills, medical expenses, to help us get a last minute holiday flight to be with her during this time, as well as any other expenses that come along with this difficult time. We can't imagine her losing everything due to being sick.

Even if you can't donate monetary help, please share so that others in our community can see.

She has been fighting what she thought was a regular respiratory infection for several weeks now (2 negative covid tests) and was taking antibiotics. On Sunday night, she called Kenny(her son) to say she was going to the hospital. By Monday morning, she was on life support. She is currently diagnosed with congestive heart failure, kidney failure, and pneumonia.

We are trying to do what we can from 2,500 miles away, and trying to get down to be with her. This comes at a terrible time, for Thanksgiving to be soon, as well as Kenny's birthday on Sunday, so we ask for our community to come together.

We - and she appreciate it endlessly.
