Save Elderly From Eviction

An elderly childless couple living in Spain have lost their jobs. The wife is suffering arthritis in the hands for which reason she cannot find employment. The husband has severe varicose veins in the legs and recently underwent a major operation and is awaiting another so has been signed off permanently by the Dr. The couple have residency in Spain but are not nationals therefore not entitled to government schemes. Their relatives are well to do but refuse to help. They cannot return to Pakistan because their home has been taken over by relatives, law and order cannot help them regain possession. In Spain they are tenants of a tenant and are being evicting in a week's time for 3 month rent arrears, they do not know the actual landlord. The aim is to pay their arrears and move them into permanent accommodation where subletting is contractually permissible so that they can cover their rent and expenses, and not have to depend on anyone financially.
