My Mom Needs A Home

Just like many American families, my mother has fallen on hard times over the last several years. She was in a car accident that injured her back, leading to her being unable to work. She was unable to keep our childhood home and it was foreclosed on. The small house she was able to afford to rent for herself, my youngest brother, and her 2 dogs ended up being sold. This left my mother with nowhere to go.

A friend of hers has let them stay there but the situation is quickly deteriorating for her. It's a very bad living environment and she doesn't even have a bed to sleep on.

Her government assistance provides her with some funds that she needs to get by, but it's not enough for first, last, and security on an apartment of her own. 

I want my mom to be able to enjoy her life, I want to see her smile again, I want to know that she's not cold at night and that she has a pillow to rest her head on. Any little bit that you could give would be a huge help to her. After raising three kids, and all the hardships that she's been through, she deserves even just a small place to call her own.
