Joe Morales basic needs & surgery to walk again

Hello everyone. First and foremost thank you for taking the time to read the story ahead and for any support, prayers, & donations. I have a very good friend that most of you probably know or have heard of him in one way or another who due to no fault of his own, has really been dealt a bad hand. Joe Morales is one of the kindest, most humble, & extremely talented artist & tattoo artist anyone could have the pleasure of knowing. Joe is a family man, married to his teenage girlfriend and proud father of 3 amazing children. Soft spoken, laid back, always with with a positive thing to say about anyone he’s met. Joe makes his living as a tattoo artist. If you follow him on social media you already know how incredible his art and skills are even while struggling for over 13 years with 3 herniated discs (L4,L5,S1). He’s been treated over the years by various doctors & specialist with back injections, physical therapy, all while using a back brace to keep his spine in alignment. With this being said Joe has pushed trough the intense paid over the years to support his family by producing some of the best tattoos the Cincinnati area has ever seen. Joe’s back has only gotten worse over the last few years which is making it harder and harder to work, and make a living for himself and his family. Recently Joe went to see a chiropractor in hopes to relieve some of the agony. But something went terrible wrong during his treatment. His femoral nerve is now herniating in his L3 and has now left joe unable to walk upright. Joe and his wife had been planning on making a move to FL prior to all of these issues... but Joe had already sent his wife down to start to get settled in while he stayed back and made some more money to get everything moved as well as to finish up his projects he’s been working on with all his clientele. But again to no fault of his own he has now been unable to work, unable to support himself & his family that are hundreds of miles away, and now requires immediate surgery & physical therapy in hopes to get him back up and walking again. Joe is not the type to ask for help. Recently I found out he hasn’t had a place to stay and I asked why in the world wouldn’t you have reached out to ask for any help or a place to sleep? Because that’s how Joe is, he doesn’t want to burden anyone, and has never asked for a handout. Times are tough right now for lots of families, but I can’t sit by and see such a good person struggle so bad and go through this without trying to do something to help. Anything helps. Even a couple dollars can add up and all donations will 100% be given to Joe for anything from the bare necessities such as food, to helping his family through this rough time, all the way up to the cost of surgery and Dr. bills there after. It kills me to see such a genuine good hearted person struggle as much as this with the bad hand that he was dealt. What would you do if you had an accident that prevented you from working? Unable to provide for yourself and your family who were far away... not being able to walk? Please help in anyway possible. If you are not in a position to help contribute financially, sharing this GoFundMe for Joe or keeping him and his family in your prayers is greatly appreciated. I understand the goal of $1,000 is a drop in the bucket, but it’s a start that can really make a difference and also show that we all care. I also want to make it very clear that Joe didn’t know anything about this, as he would never ask for help from friends, family, or strangers, however he could use any help possible at this time. Thank you again for taking the time to read this in its entirety.
