Support the Mandala Family

This is an amazing update from Debi: It has been one month since Tim‘s stroke. When I first found him on the floor, I thought he was joking. When I heard his voice and saw his face, I called 911. Paramedics came and rushed him to Delray Medical Center. Everything that happened that morning was fast and scary. As friends and family found out, we know you were as shocked and scared as we were. Over and over, I heard from you that if anyone could get through this, it was Tim. Strength and determination are simply part of who he is. I prayed that it was true; that his strength would MATTER. I am relieved and thrilled to tell you that it has. Tim has made remarkable progress during the last month, even during the last week. He is home and walking smoothly, and incredible change from those first few PT sessions. He is going to physical and occupational therapy three afternoons a week, working hard to continue to gain back function. This guy has always had a “take no prisoners” attitude in the gym - and now is no different! There is certainly a road ahead of him, and a great deal of patience required, but we have every reason to expect a full recovery or at least damn close. Tim has moved mountains already and will continue to do so. We are floored, humbled and incredibly grateful for the support we have received. We will never forget the kindness and generosity we have been shown. We will make every effort to pay it forward and teach our daughters to do the same. We have felt your love and support every step of the way and it has truly made a difference. To all of you who shared our shock, our fear, our hope for recovery and our relief and joy to see that coming to fruition...thank you. We love you and we are forever grateful.
