Help Cookie keep improving our communities.

My family is entering dire straights. My mother, Yong Cork (known to everyone as Cookie Cork) has just been admitted to the hospital for the third time in the last month. She has been consistently ill, battling nausea, and her kidneys are slowly showing signs of impairment. This last admission, she had trouble breathing, retaining liquid, and with a bad case of Shingles that has wrapped it's way around Cookie's trunk. 

Cookie is a popular individual in the region for her profession. She is a psychiatric nurse practitioner. You would be hard-pressed to find anyone in healthcare in the area that doesn't know, at least, her name. Her clients love her, and talk praise of her to their healthcare providers. She now runs her own private office, in which she worked her whole life to get to. This is now in jeopardy.

Since she runs her own office, she has sunk everything into it. My father is retired, and cannot currently help with income because he broke his leg in the last month while Cookie has been in and out of the hospital.  Both of them are slipping behind in rent, utilities, Bill's, and payroll. 

She actually would berate me if she knew I started this for her, but I had to. This is a last resort, in hoping I can reach out to help her. To lose her business would mean losing over 200 clients would lose a confidant and a provider that really cares for her clients. 

Please, if you are able to, donate something to her, for her impact on our community in Topeka and surrounding areas. She would appreciate it, and I am certain, so would the people she helps everyday. Thank you.
